With over a decade of experience as the Director of Racquets at The Tennis & Fitness Center of Rocky Hill and history as the Director of Tennis at Weston Racquet Club, my journey in tennis and pickleball has been quite the adventure. Certified by USPTA, PTR, MTM, USTA High Performance & Mental Skills, and IPTPA for pickleball, I've immersed myself in the world of racquet sports. My tennis journey started in college, playing for the University of Connecticut, where I earned a B.S. in Sports Science with a concentration in Sports Marketing. But my story doesn't end on the tennis court. I'm a 3X Guinness World Records™ titleholder for the Longest Tennis Rally, Volley Rally, & longest pickleball rally, using these feats as charity fundraisers. My commitment to sportsmanship earned me the USTA Sportsmanship Award in 2005, and I've continued to give back, receiving the 2016 USPTA Lessons for Life Award for raising over $110,000 for Save the Children. As the USTA Connecticut President from 2018 to 2020, I've been shaping the tennis landscape with my philosophy of the "4 Gs": Get a Dream, Goal Set, Goal Get, and Give Back. Coaching has been my passion since I was a child, and it's a joy I've carried into my teenage years and beyond. I find immense fulfillment in teaching beginners, guiding them through the fundamentals and witnessing their growth firsthand. Recently, I've expanded my coaching endeavors by opening a boutique fitness studio while dedicating my spare time to coaching pickleball, a sport I've been deeply involved in for over 5 years. I organize monthly meet-ups for former pickleball graduates and collaborate with my local park and rec department to offer beginner lessons and clinics, spreading the love for the game in my community. I’ve played soccer for a young age of 5 until high school, that’s when football became a love of mine from high school through College, basketball as a youth for 2-3 years, & I’ve been heavily involved in boxing for the last 5 going on 6 years. Since finding my desire to help others improve I would host workouts for football players in my free time at my local field working with all different experience levels. During the summer of 2017 I volunteered as a youth football coach for the Bridgeport Chargers for the age group 9-12 putting kids through drills, full workouts, teaching them how to improve at their skills positions which lead me into the field of peak performance training. Having trained a few kids & pre-teens in boxing giving them specific easy to grasp directions to build the confidence that it take to learn the skill of self defense.
